Riccardo Lo Faro

Riccardo is a journalist, biographer, and ghostwriter based in New York, with clients in the US, Europe, and other areas of the world.

Born in Rome with studies at both Italian and American universities, his previous work experiences have brought him to Australia, with Sea World Australia; South Africa, with Ladbroke PLC - Hilton Hotels International; Italy, with Veio Country Club of Roma and with Hotel Mirage in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

He was the New York correspondent for the international culture magazine ‘NewYorkCityVenezia' (currently Atlantis), which is published in the US (New York) and in Italy, as well as distributed on Delta Airlines flights (Venice-NYC). Since 2004 in New York he has been the editor-in-chief of “Convivial Spirit', the official publication of the New York Delegation of Accademia Italiana della Cucina – an Italian government's cultural institution with delegations in all of Italy’s regions as well as all major foreign cities.

As a writer and journalist, he is a member of the United States Department of State's F. Press Center, also a member of the Los Angeles Press Club, and a member of the Italian Association of Journalists. He is the author of books, memorials, articles, and other editorial and web content, working mostly anonymously in the employ of private clients and companies while maintaining various collaborations with journalistic and cultural titles.

Among his several awards he was honored at the United Nations (New York) with the ANPS International Award from the Italian State Police -New York and New Jersey Delegation, for positions in the Information Division.

Riccardo has published some 60 books to date, including biographies, short-story books, and e.books, among which are: Dante Ferretti, Production Designer –Academy Oscar Award Winner; Antonio Pappano, Orchestra Director –The Royal Opera House (London) and Musical Director at Accademia di Santa Cecilia (Rome); Giorgio Moroder, Music Producer, and Composer –Academy Oscar Award Winner; Sylvester Stallone, Actor, and Film Producer; Matilda Raffa Cuomo, frmr. New York State First Lady; Federico Faggin, Physician and Entrepreneur; Frank Serpico, NYPD Detective (ret.); Frank Mancuso, President, and CEO of Paramount Pictures and MGM Studios (frmr.).  

 

Based on his assignments as a ghostwriter, he has also published several books anonymously (biographies, memoirs, fantasy stories, and more) in the employ of private clients and companies: Italian, Italian-American, and Italian-Australian personalities as well as for both American and Italian government institutions and agencies including the NYPD, Italian ICE, Banca d'Italia, the Chamber of Commerce, ANPS, the United Nation's Permanent Observer of the Holy See, the Accademia Italiana della Cucina, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) of NY - please find references in "Testimonials".

Riccardo is a father of three; he currently splits his life between New York, Los Angeles, and Italy for his assignments as a biographer, ghostwriter, and journalist, also in charge of the non-profit WLPO - The World Leading Personalities Organization, and of the PrimiDieci Society, both organizations with headquarter in New York City.
